  • Trek Blue is the hiking tour extension of Ride Blue Sxm (e-scooter rental company) , offering guided adventures through some of Sint Maarten’s most scenic and off-the-beaten-path trails — many ending in natural pools, panoramic lookouts, or hidden gems.

  • We offer hikes ranging from 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the trail. Each trek listing will include duration, difficulty level, and what to expect.

  • Our hikes are categorized as:

    • Beginner – Flat to mildly sloped, suitable for all fitness levels

    • Moderate – Some incline and rocky terrain, basic fitness recommended

    • Advanced – Steeper, longer treks with more rugged footing

    You can find the difficulty rating listed on each trek.

  • Yes! Most of our treks begin with a scenic e-scooter ride to the trailhead, included in your tour price. You must be 16+ to ride and confident operating a scooter. There will be a quick tutorial for new beginners!

  • Not at all! Many of our tours are designed for beginners or casual walkers. You’ll be guided by friendly, knowledgeable locals who pace the hike to suit the group.

  • We recommend:

    • Closed-toe shoes with good grip (no flip-flops)

    • A refillable water bottle

    • Swimsuit (if the hike ends at a natural pool)

    • Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses

    • Light towel (optional)

    *We provide water and small snacks on select treks.

  • Each tour includes:

    • A guided hike led by a local expert

    • Round-trip e-scooter transfer to/from the trailhead

    • Access to scenic or hidden locations

    • Optional extras like water, photo packages, or add-ons may be available at checkout

  • E-scooter riders must be 16+ and under 200 lbs (113 kg). Children under 16 may participate in the hike if accompanied by an adult but must arrange alternate transport if they can’t ride a scooter.

  • Yes — safety is our top priority. Our guides are trained to lead all levels of hikers and carry basic first aid. Trails are scouted and maintained, and we monitor weather conditions closely.

  • Yes! On hikes that end at natural pools, you're welcome to take a refreshing dip. Bring a swimsuit and towel, and please follow your guide’s safety instructions.

  • You can book directly on our website via the "Tours" page’s “BOOK” button, or contact us through our form for custom/private group bookings info and details.

  • We offer full refunds with at least 24 hours’ notice. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may not be refunded, as space is limited.

  • Yes! We offer private hikes for couples, families, and small groups. You can request a private experience during booking or message us directly for a custom itinerary.

  • Light rain won’t cancel a hike — just bring a light poncho or jacket. However, for safety, we may postpone or cancel treks during heavy weather, in which case you'll receive a full refund or option to reschedule.

  • Great question! Ride Blue Trek confirms each booking manually to ensure:

    • We meet the minimum number of guests for the tour

    • A guide is available for your selected date and time

    • Weather conditions are safe and ideal for the hike

    You’ll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. If your tour doesn’t meet requirements or needs to be rescheduled, we’ll reach out with alternatives or a full refund.
